Alec Baldwin is a dad again – the actor’s yoga teacher wife Hilaria gave birth to the couple’s baby girl on Friday.

Little Carmen Gabriela was born at New York City’s Mount Sinai Hospital.

New mom Hilaria, who wed the 30 Rock star in June, 2012, has released a statement, in which she calls the newborn “absolutely perfect”.

The baby girl is the couple’s first child together but Alec has a 17-year-old daughter, Ireland, with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.

The teenage model greeted her sister’s arrival with a lengthy post on her Tumblr.com page, writing, “Welcome! We have all been anticipating your arrival! By we, I mean a lot of people. Girl, you haven’t even met them, but there are a ton of people who care about you. I’m not sure where exactly to begin.”

Ireland added, “I sure wish I had an experimental, older, wild child of a sister. I would have been way better off. So here I am. Hopefully by the time you read and understand this, we’ll be best friends, sitting in some rad coffee shop in Brooklyn, talking about bands and how hot Channing Tatum used to be.”

She then listed 10 Baldwin rules, including “REMEMBER THAT YOUR PARENTS WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU”, “ENJOY YOUR CHILD HOOD AND YOUR TEENAGE YEARS!!!!”, and BE CAREFUL WHO YOU TRUST.”

She signed off by writing, “I love you, Carmen. You have been born into one crazy family. You are both lucky and cursed at the same time. We are going to have so fun much fun together. I can’t wait to meet you soon. I promise you I will always be there for you no matter what! Never forget! Your big sister, Ireland.”
