Rob Zombie, Duff McKagan to cover the Ramones

Rob Zombie, Duff McKagan and former Sex Pistols star Steve Jones have formed a Ramones covers group for the 10th annual Johnny Ramone tribute.

Ramone’s wife Linda will host the bash at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, where comedian Fred Armisen will also perform as his alter-ego Ian Rubbish and Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett will display his collection of horror movie memorabilia.

Zombie will also screen his movie The Devil’s Rejects.

Celebrities have gathered at Ramone’s statue in the cemetery annually since his death in 2004.

Past guests at the tribute have included Johnny Depp, Lisa Marie Presley, Chris Cornell, Nicolas Cage and Henry Rollins.

Bono had another surgery to repair a fracture to his left pinkie on Monday. Lorich says Bono will need therapy but a full recovery is expected.

Bono is a launching an all-star campaign featuring "once-in-a-lifetime experiences" like walking the red carpet with Meryl Streep or visiting the "Game of Thrones" set.
